GCSE Results 2026
We are extremely proud of the achievements of all our students in their GCSE exams this year – the best in the school’s history. It is a reflection of the young people’s hard work, the support of wonderful families and the fantastic colleagues who work at St Richard Reynolds.
The pass rate of our students was exceptionally good with 89% achieving a pass in mathematics and English with a phenomenal 83% achieving a Grade 5 or above in both. 47% of all grades were a 7+ with 14% being a grade 9. Notable outcomes include Jack with 10 grade 9s, Millie and Lola with 9 grade 9s and Robin, Maria and Antoni with 8 grade 9s.
We look forward to many students continuing their SRR journey into our successful Sixth Form. External Sixth Form applicants should arrive at their allocated interview time on Thursday 20th to enrol and we hope to ensure they join our vibrant community.
A Level Results 2026
We are delighted with the outcomes for the one hundred and twenty eight Sixth Form students leaving us this summer and more importantly the people our students have become during their time with us.
The students have worked incredibly hard to secure their results and university, college, and work placements. Praise must be passed also to their hard working teachers, support staff and governing body who have supported them during this time and we are grateful too, for the support of their parents and carers who are major partners in this success story.
62% of our grades were A*- B, with 28% of the grades at A* and A. Amongst a number of notable individual performances included: three students going to study Medicine, two to Oxford and one to Princeton. We are proud of all our students who are going to study at universities in this country and overseas as well as those starting apprenticeships and with exciting employment opportunities ahead.
Sorrel Simmons, Head of School, said “Our students’ success is a result of many factors, not least the dedication and hard work of our staff. The College is rightfully delighted that the students have achieved so highly, with so many stories of exceptional progress, it is a mark of the calibre of the positive relationships they have developed with them. We also continue to appreciate the support of our St Richard Reynolds families, acknowledging and highlighting this invaluable partnership that helps to generate positive outcomes for young people.”
Jo Mason, Head of Sixth Form noted: “We are incredibly proud of everything our students have achieved. Their fantastic results show how hard they have worked, and how determined they have been. They also reflect the support, encouragement, patience and guidance of their teachers and families. These achievements are more than just grades, they represent time of growing in confidence, learning and overcoming challenges. Every success tells a story of perseverance, dedication and the courage to keep going, even when the journey was tough.”
