Curriculum Intent Statement
We want to inspire and challenge our students to use their imagination to create innovative solutions to problems whilst considering their own and others needs. Our curriculum is designed to grow responsible designers and conscientious consumers. Through current, relevant and engaging topics we will; ignite curiosity, equip students with skills and knowledge and nurture critical thinkers.
We teach students to follow the iterative design process which facilitates our students to become designers who are comfortable in taking risks and are capable of analysing and evaluating their own work. We provide opportunities for all our students to acquire technical and practical expertise needed to perform everyday tasks confidently and to participate successfully in an increasingly technological world.
