Curriculum Intent Statement

FPN curriculum content is organised and carefully sequenced to build knowledge and skills; content is also engaging, inspiring and accessible to all students.

FPN curriculum content is mapped against the national curriculum, exam board specifications, current UK healthy eating guidelines and the government’s Core Competences for children and young people (A framework of skills and knowledge around food, diet and physical activity).

Students at SRRCC are taught how to cook and apply the principles of nutrition and healthy eating to their daily lives; cooking is a crucial life skill that will enable our students to feed themselves and others affordably and well, now and in later life.

High School Tours

Our High School College Tours have now finished for the summer term. Tours will resume in the new academic year on Wednesdays and Fridays throughout September and October. Reservations for tour tickets will be available through Eventbrite via this link HERE. Our Open Evening has been scheduled for the evening of 2nd October, 6-8pm.

Primary School
