Latin

Curriculum Intent Statement

All students at SRRCC will have the opportunity to explore the history, politics and cultural values of two ancient societies that have had a profound influence on our lives today. All students will gain the linguistic skills required to further unlock the ancient world and study original Latin literature. Through the study of ancient cultures, students will be able to discuss big issues highly relevent to modern life, such as the roles of religion and politics, and further develop their literacy and oracy skills with strong cross-curricular links to English, History, RE and MFL.
