At St Richard Reynolds we are committed to supporting students’ wellbeing to enable students to achieve their personal best, be happy and become the person God intended them to be. The College has a strong pastoral system of form tutors, Heads of Year led by an Assistant Principal Mr Butcher. Student Services is also manned throughout the school day and an RE, tutor time and PSHE curriculum supports discussion of issues around mental health and student well being. We also have a Chaplain, Mrs Rebecca Walker working with students at the College.

If a student or parent has concerns about their well being at any time they are advised to contact their form tutor in the first instance.

At St Richard Reynolds we also have a system of Mental Health Champions who can help and support you, talk to Mrs Tyler (in the RE Department) to find our more.

In the High school
The school nursing service runs a weekly confidential drop in for students every Wednesday 12-1. Offering support and advice on healthy lifestyle choices, friendship and relationship advice, support for anxieties, exam stress and emotional wellbeing.
