St Richard Reynolds is a place where our young people come first, and everyone will be loved, listened to, challenged and inspired so that we can help each other become the person that God created us to be.
Our High School has six forms per year group (180 students) which are divided into tutor groups and named after our House Saints. We offer a broad and balanced curriculum that supports the needs of all our pupils. Our excellent GCSE and A Level results are complemented by an extensive co-curricular provision which enables every student to reach their full academic, spiritual, sporting, artistic and social potential.
We are proud that our students are well presented, polite and supportive of one another. Our House Point system is based on the Catholic Social Teaching principles and students are rewarded regularly for living out their faith in our school community and beyond.
As students transition from our own and other local Primary Schools, we work hard to make their social, emotional and academic progression as swift and seamless as possible; offering ‘moving up days,’ a summer school provision and close monitoring and support as they join us in Year 7.
Our full Careers Education Programme prepares students for the next stage of their educational journey, with large numbers of our Year 11s choosing to stay on to study A Levels in our vibrant, purpose-built Sixth Form.
We welcome visitors and are always happy to accommodate requests to see the school, either via our Open Evening or Opening Morning events in the Summer and Autumn terms. Please click on the links provided to find out more about us and our Admissions.
