Careers Coordinator

Start date: 1st September 2022

We are looking for a self-motivated and confident Careers Coordinator with good general administrative and communication skills and with the ability to develop good relationships with all stakeholders (students, parents, carers, staff and outside agencies). You will work alongside the Careers Lead to further develop our careers provision that prepares young people for the choices and transitions in education, training and employment. There is an opportunity to become a qualified careers adviser.

Whilst this is a part-time role (21 hours per week with flexibility on working pattern, term time plus inset days and one week during school holidays, preferably to coincide with GCSE result day), we may consider applicants preferring full-time hours (36) with additional administrative roles added. Learning Support Assistant

Salary: NJC payscale, Scale 4 points 7-10 (currently £23,400-£24,684 FTE pa).

Required: September 2022

We welcome applications from bright, keen and enthusiastic people to join our College as a Learning Support Assistant, to provide support to our students, particularly those with additional needs.  The role is full-time, Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm, term time only. 

Reporting to the SENCO, you will join a committed and enthusiastic team providing exceptional support for learning and teaching across our College, including specific support with literacy, numeracy, study and social skills.  

While we ask you to support our Catholic mission and identity, being a practising Catholic is not a requirement, we welcome applicants from any background.  You will be educated to at least A level or equivalent and have good GCSE passes in English and mathematics.
