Admissions arrangements for 2026/27

St Richard Reynolds Catholic Primary School is a co-educational primary school within the Ascension Catholic Academy Trust. The Ascension Catholic Academy Trust is the admissions authority and has delegated responsibility for admissions to the local governing body of the school. The school provides 210 places for pupils between the ages of 4 and 11. The closing date for applications is 15th January 2026 for places in Reception at St Richard Reynolds Catholic Primary School for children born between 1st September 2021 and August 31st 2022 for entry in September 2026. Outcomes will be advised on 16th April 2026.

20 places are allocated with priority given to baptised Catholic children if that category is oversubscribed. The remaining 10 places in the primary school are allocated on the basis of distance from the school and not on the religion of the child.
