National Offer Day
Offer of places in Reception class for September 2019 were offered on 16th April 2019 by the local authroity on behlaf of the school.
The governing body of St Richard Reynolds College is the admissions authority and holds and manages it's own waiting lists separate from the local authority. Your child will be automatically added to our waiting list if you were not offered a place at a higher preference school.
The College receives a large number of queries after offers have been sent out. If you have a question about admissions, please email the admissions department at firstname.lastname@example.org and the admissions officer will repsond as soon as possible.
If you wish your child to be placed on the Reception 2019 waiting list please email email@example.com with the following details:
1) Child's Name
2) Child's DOB
3) Child's Address
4) Contact number
5) Confirmation if originally applied.
Families have two weeks from National Offer Day to confirm whether they will be accepting initial offers made to their Local Authority. Should places become available AFTER this time, they will be allocated and offered according to the published over-subscription criteria.
Please note: The College Office staff does not have visibility of the waiting list and are unable to give personal information regarding positions on the waiting list.
The school is a voluntary aided co-educational primary school within the trusteeship of the Diocese of Westminster. it provides 210 places for pupils between the ages of 4 and 11.
The closing date for applications was 15th January 2019 for places in Reception at St Richard Reynolds Catholic Primary School for children born between 1st September 2014 and August 31st 2015 for entry in September 2019. Outcomes were advised on 16th April 2019. 20 places were allocated with priority given to baptised Catholic children if that category is oversubscribed. The remaining 10 places in the primary school will be allocated on the basis of distance from the school and not on the religion of the child.

NB You must complete and return a Common Application Form (CAF) to your home local authority online or, by post or in person. Supplementary Information forms and Certificate of Catholic Practice (if applicable) must be returned to the College Office.
Note: The governing body may only determine the admissions arrangements on a year by year basis but it is the expectation that up to ten pupils who are awarded and accept an Open place will be given top priority after Catholic looked after children should they apply for a place in Year 7 at St Richard Reynolds Catholic High School when they reach Year 6 in St Richard Reynolds Catholic Primary School. This does not form part of our current admissions arrangements.

PLEASE NOTE: St Richard Reynolds Catholic Primary School opened in September 2013 with 30 pupils in Reception class. A further 30 pupils were admitted in 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018. Up to 30 children will be admitted in September 2019 when the school will reach its capacity of up to 210 pupils.

St Richard Reynolds Catholic Primary School Waiting List
Current Reception, Year 1, Year 2, Year 3, Year 4 and Year 5 are at full capacity. Places may become available should parents move from the area or to another school.
