Uniforms help define the ethos of a school and the standards expected
St Richard Reynolds Catholic College has a strict uniform policy which forms part of the Home – School Agreement. Our policy is intended to:
– develop a strong sense of belonging to the St Richard Reynolds community;
– encourage pupils to take pride in their appearance and in their role as ambassadors for the school;
– educate pupils in the need to dress appropriately for different purposes.
Uniform must be worn correctly at all times, including the journey to and from school. Please be conscious of the requirements of the school uniform dress code when purchasing shoes or clothing. Pupils will not be allowed to wear non-uniform items. If you are in any doubt about what is and is not acceptable, please ask one of the College’s leadership team or check the uniform policy.
Our Governors are currently reviewing our school uniform policy in relation to the updated Government guidance on affordability of uniform. We will be phasing in changes from September 2023.
The College has a supply of second hand uniform available for resale. Parents who are facing financial difficulties will be given first priority and should contact the school so we can provide support – primary@srrcc.org.uk
Stevensons is the official uniform supplier and has a branch at 1-15 Heath Road, Twickenham, Middlesex, TW1 4DB (020 8892 2201).
All uniform can also be purchased online and there is a link from the College website.
Items marked with a * in the policy are specifically designed for St Richard Reynolds Catholic Primary School and can only be purchased from Stevensons.
Please ensure that all uniform is clearly labelled with your child’s name.
