St Richard Reynolds is a place where our young people come first, and everyone will be loved, listened to, challenged and inspired so that we can help each other become the person that God created us to be.
Our Primary school is where pupils will begin their journey through St Richard Reynolds Catholic College. The Primary school caters for children from Reception age through to Year 6 with one form of 30 pupils in each year group. It enjoys a newly built part of the College’s campus and the pupils benefit greatly by having access to specialist facilities not normally found in a one form entry primary school. We are committed to the pursuit of excellence in all that we do and if you entrust your child to us you will see that we work tirelessly to achieve this. We have a broad and creative curriculum which provides children with the opportunity to explore, enquire and reflect. Children not only flourish academically but also through creative arts, music and sport. Subject specialist teachers from the College contribute to the primary school curriculum to provide challenge and enrichment. Pupils’ spiritual and emotional wellbeing is developed through our RE curriculum, Chaplaincy provision and close links with local parishes.
The partnership with parents is especially valued. We recognise that parents play an important role in the education of their children. We are fortunate to have such a supportive parent community and encourage families to be involved in all aspects of school life.
I hope that your visit to our website will give you a flavour of our school community. Visits from prospective parents are warmly welcomed. Information about school tours in the autumn term will be published on our website.
