Sixth Form Student Leadership Team

The College Parliament is a democratically elected student body that ensures student voice is well and truly heard at St Richard Reynolds.  From Year 3 to 10 three members of each year group are nominated by their peers and appointed to the Sixth Form Leadership Team for a term of one year which spans Year 12 and 13.

The students take on responsibility for a range of areas of interest which are important in terms of student voice and the development of the College community.  We run a conference to train and brief them on their responsibility and members of staff mentor them throughout the year to achieve their individual goals.  These areas of responsibility include:

  • Mental Health
  • Sports
  • College Parliament and student voice
  • Inclusion
  • Environment
  • Performing Arts
  • Transition
  • House Leader
  • Head Prefects
  • Community

We are very proud of what our students have achieved so far, for example, working together to raise £10,000 for those affected by the conflict in Ukraine through a sponsored rowathon, a sponsored walk to the Ukrainian Embassy and a music concert, supporting the delivery of the Year 7 summer school and visiting local Primary schools to prepare the Year 6s for transition, running the St Peter and Paul’s Festival for Year 7 and 8.
