The Sixth Form represents the pinnacle of a student’s journey at our College, offering an exceptional program of study, enrichment, support, and career opportunities across Years 12 and 13. It is a warm and welcoming environment where our primary focus is on achieving the best possible outcomes for the young adults we serve. Each year, we welcome a good proportion of our own High School students into our Sixth Form and they are joined by new entrants, bringing fresh energy and ideas to our community.
Our whole College ethos of ensuring our students are loved, listened to, challenged and inspired continues into the Sixth Form. We strive for academic excellence, as demonstrated by our exemplary A Level results, and we support our students to achieve their potential, principally through outstanding learning and teaching and tailored pastoral support; something on which the College prides itself. Our Catholic ethos permeates all aspects of what we offer, with opportunities for worship, spiritual growth, and community service throughout Sixth Form life. While students of all faiths are welcome, we ask that everyone respects our beliefs and traditions.
Our Futures Programme, thoughtfully designed by our dedicated College Careers Advisor, supports Sixth Form students in exploring, understanding, and planning their next steps. We offer a wide range of opportunities for students to learn about their post-18 options, including one-on-one interviews, UCAS conferences, presentations from Russell Group scholars, and university visits
With a well-rounded curriculum of A Level courses, independent study, and an extensive personal development program, we are confident that our students will be well-prepared for a variety of quality post-18 opportunities. These include attending universities, pursuing top-tier apprenticeships, and embarking on promising careers.
