Our College

St Richard Reynolds Catholic College is a federation of St Richard Reynolds Catholic Primary School and St Richard Reynolds Catholic High School which includes a Sixth Form. It is under the Trusteeship of the Diocese of Westminster in partnership with the RC Diocese of Southwark.

St Richard Reynolds Catholic College is a place where our young people come first, are loved, listened to, challenged and inspired.  We are part of the Catholic Church and at all times serve as witnesses to our Catholic faith in Our Lord, Jesus Christ.

Mission Statement:

St Richard Reynolds is a Catholic community rooted in the love of Christ in which we help each other to become the person that God created us to be. We do this so that children entrusted to us will:

  • experience the benefits of positive relationships
  • develop ‘bucket loads’ of confidence
  • attain the academic outcomes they need and are capable of achieving
  • develop the skills and attributes that will help them succeed in an ever-changing world
  • grow in faith and strive to live their lives as the person God created them to be

We follow St Richard Reynolds’ call to ‘See the good things of the Lord’ in each other, in our academic studies, in our appreciation of the world around us and in our own God-given gifts and talents.

The Reception – Year 13 Experience:

Our College structure affords us the ability to offer a broad and balanced education from Reception to Year 13.  Our leadership, teaching and support teams work across the whole College, to provide a richer and more connected learning, spiritual, moral and physical environment for our students.

Quality learning and teaching is central to becoming the person God created us to be and we are committed to providing students with an inspiring academic experience which is child-centred and stimulating. We know that outstanding learning is not simply about content, but is also about delivery. For this reason, we recruit staff for their passion, their enthusiasm and their imagination in communicating with children, to ensure that every single pupil in their class is engaged, excited and challenged by the learning experience.

We are deeply committed to opening the hearts and minds of our young people in every way. We have an outstanding co-curricular provision, including Duke of Edinburgh awards, sports, arts, clubs and societies, leadership and challenge activities, that all add up to a high-quality education of the whole person.  Our music specialism is exemplary and enables our students to experience best in class music tuition and unparalleled musical opportunities, both within and beyond the classroom.

We know that working in partnership with parents delivers the best educational experiences for our young people. We actively seek the views, support and engagement of our parental community and endeavour to foster positive relationships with all.
