A Level Results 2024
We are delighted with the outcomes for the one hundred and twenty-six Sixth Form students leaving us this summer and more importantly the people our students have become during their time with us.
The students have worked incredibly hard to secure their results and university, college, and work placements. Praise must be passed also to their hard-working teachers, support staff and governing body who have supported them during this time and we are grateful too, for the support of their parents and carers who are major partners in this success story.
55% of our grades were A*- B, with 27% of the grades at A* and A. Amongst a number of notable individual performances included: Molly (A*, A*, A*, A*) Mathematics at Exeter; Lily (A*, A*, A*) History at Cambridge; Max (A*, A*, A*) Economics at Bath, Charlie (A*, A*, A, A) Computer Science and Mathematics at Bath and Noah (A*, A*, A*, B) Financial Management and Statistics at LSE. We are proud of all our students who are going to study at universities in this country and overseas as well as those starting apprenticeships and with exciting employment opportunities ahead.
Sorrel Simmons, Head of School, said “Our students’ success is a result of many factors, not least the dedication and hard work of our staff. The College is rightfully delighted that the students have achieved so highly, it is a mark of the calibre of the positive relationships they have developed with them. We also continue to appreciate the support of their parents and carers, acknowledging and highlighting this invaluable partnership that helps to generate positive outcomes for young people.”
Jo Mason, Head of Sixth Form noted:
“We are incredibly proud of all our students. Their results are a reflection of their hard work, resilience, and the exceptional support they have received from their teachers and families. These achievements are not just about grades; they represent years of dedication, perseverance, and personal growth. I have no doubt that they will go on to achieve even greater things in the future.”
