GCSE Results 2025
We are extremely proud of the achievements of all our students in their GCSE exams this year; it is a reflection of their hard work, their parents’ support and the fantastic colleagues who work at St Richard Reynolds. Notable results include Elena with 11 grade 9s, Klara with 10 grade 9s , Avie and Darcey with 9 grade 9s and Mateo with 8 grade 9s.
The pass rate of our students was exceptionally good with 89% achieving a pass in mathematics and English with 73% achieving a Grade 5 in both. 43% of all grades were a 7+ with one in ten being a grade 9 . We look forward to many students continuing their SRR journey into our successful Sixth Form. External Sixth Form applicants should arrive at their allocated interview time on Thursday 21st to enrol and we hope to ensure they join our vibrant community.
A Level Results 2025
We are delighted with the outcomes for the one hundred and sixteen Sixth Form students leaving us this summer and more importantly the people our students have become during their time with us.
The students have worked incredibly hard to secure their results and university, college, and work placements. Praise must be passed also to their hard working teachers, support staff and governing body who have supported them during this time and we are grateful too, for the support of their parents and carers who are major partners in this success story.
51% of our grades were A*- B, with 26% of the grades at A* and A. Amongst a number of notable individual performances included: Liliana (A*, A*, A*, A*) Architecture at Cambridge; Oliwier(A*, A*, A*) Astrophysics at Durham; Jess (A*, A*, A* with an A* in her EPQ) Law at Manchester and Aaron (A*, A*, A*, A*) Medicine at Imperial. We are proud of all our students who are going to study at universities in this country and overseas as well as those starting apprenticeships and with exciting employment opportunities ahead.
Sorrel Simmons, Head of School, said “Our students’ success is a result of many factors, not least the dedication and hard work of our staff. The College is rightfully delighted that the students have achieved so highly, with so many stories of exceptional progress, it is a mark of the calibre of the positive relationships they have developed with them. We also continue to appreciate the support of their parents and carers, acknowledging and highlighting this invaluable partnership that helps to generate positive outcomes for young people.”
Jo Mason, Head of Sixth Form noted:
“We could not be prouder of our students and all they have accomplished. Their outstanding results are a true testament to their hard work, determination, and resilience, as well as the unwavering support and guidance they have received from their teachers and families. These successes are about far more than grades alone, they represent years of commitment, personal growth, and the ability to overcome challenges along the way. Each achievement tells a story of late nights, consistent effort, and the willingness to keep going no matter how steep the climb. We are confident that the skills, values, and confidence the students have developed during this journey will serve them well, and we have no doubt they will continue to achieve remarkable things in the years ahead.”
