At St Richard Reynolds Primary we endeavour to make sure all our pupils are aware of some of the risks to safety that are online and what to do to remain safe when using the internet. We have extensive security measures in place in school, which are monitored both internally and externally, to help safeguard pupils from potential dangers or unsuitable material. Any E-Safety incidents are recorded and managed. E-Safety is taught to all pupils explaining and demonstrating how to stay safe and behave appropriately online. Every child at St Richard Reynolds has signed an age appropriate Online User Agreement and is expected to follow the guidelines whenever they are online. We can only be successful in keeping children safe online if we work with parents to ensure the e-Safety message is consistent. We work with parents to ensure children know about how they can keep safe and behave appropriately online.
If children are worried at any time about online sexual abuse or the way someone has been communicating with them online, they are taught to click the CEOP button below:
If you have any concerns please contact our Designated Safeguarding Lead – Mrs Forsdick (d.forsdick@srrcc.org.uk) 0208 3254630
